George Lovett

5 photographs, Dakar 2004

1 portrait, 4 landscapes depicting daily life within the courtyard living space of a typical Senegalese home.

Coming from an architectural background, I now work in dialogue between art and architecture processes and products.

These images were taken as part of a research project in Senegal, in collaboration with REFDAF, a sustainable development organization ('Réseau des femmes pour le Dévéloppement Durable en Afrique' or 'Network of Women for Sustainable Development in Africa'). This association will receive a donation from any sales of my photographs.
